Adult Sunday School
Saint James offers an Adult Sunday school class every Sunday from 8:30 am -9:20 am **during the school year.**
 
This is a long standing class that offers a chance to explore and learn about the Bible and how it applies to today’s times. All are invited and it does not require a weekly commitment. Materials and coffee are provided.
Youth Sunday School
Sunday School classes are held every Sunday **during the school year.**
 
Children and Youth Classes begin at 8:45 AM in the Education Wing.
 
This group Sunday class offers children and youth the opportunity to learn about God through fun stories and activities. 
Bible Study
Bible studies are an important part of spiritual life at Saint James United Methodist Church. There are periodic pastor-led Bible studies throughout the year. All are welcome to join in Bible studies, and materials will be provided. Please check the events calendar for scheduled Bible studies.
Confirmation
Confirmation classes are offered for youth in 8th grade. After completion of their studies students make their personal profession of faith during a public service.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

Regrettably, Saint James UMC will not be holding Vacating Bible School this summer due to the Coronavirus, We hope that you are staying safe, and we look forward to seeing you next summer.

In the summer of 2019 we had a wonderful VBS experience with our theme “Miraculous Mission – Jesus Saves The World”.

6th Grade are invited to participate.
New Member Classes
New Member classes are an opportunity for new members to become connected with the ministry and mission of the church.

Acolyte Training
Starting in fourth grade children may begin training as Acolytes. They will assist in the Sunday worship service by lighting the candles and delivering the collection plates.
